St. Cecilia School has opened a new, full-day Pre-K program. Students in Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4 have the opportunity to attend five full days of school each week. They are offered a comprehensive educational program that includes core subjects, as well as special subject areas that enhance their learning experience. In addition, Before Care and After Care programs are available to Pre-K students. St. Cecilia's also offers a comprehensive half-day Pre-K program. All classes take place in newly rennovated, SMART Board-equipped classrooms. |
Also new this year, is the implementation of STEM learning in our Middle School. STEM (an acronym for Science - Technology - Engineering - Mathematics) is an interdisciplinary approach to learning. Its rigorous academic concepts are paired with real-world lessons in which students learn to apply science and mathematics skills to design a project -- engineering -- using technology to bring it all together. Students who learn through STEM are building problem-solving skills and learning to address multi-dimensional challenges in our technological world.
