WELCOME BACK - 2014-2015 School Year!

Dear Parents and Students,

Welcome back to another terrific year at St. Cecilia’s School! The 2014-2015 school year is going to be a super one.  I am so excited to continue using STEM Education (science - technology - engineering - math) in our school.   I teach 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade science, as well as, 8th grade religion and vocabulary.

I have 13 years of teaching experience – 7 years at St. Mary’s School in Wharton (Kindergarten teacher), 3 years in the Hopatcong School District (Substitute teacher/Middle School Aide), and 3 years at St. Cecilia School. I have two children – Colleen (20 yrs old, Junior at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in NYC) and Patrick (18 yrs old, Freshman at Sussex County Community College). I have been married to my husband, Jim, for 23years. I have 3 dogs (Bailey, Max and Amber). I tell you all of this because my family is a part of me and I often reference them in class.

We all need to work together to make this a fantastic year – teacher, students and parents. Communication is key in a flourishing school/home relationship. I will keep you posted on what is happening via my class website (, Remind101 and email. Please feel free to contact me by phone or email if you have any questions. Email ( This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. ) is preferable because it is more readily accessible throughout the day, and it can even be checked from home. I will check it at least once in the evening.

Thank you. God Bless you. I look forward to working with you.
