WELCOME BACK - 2013-2014 School Year!
Dear Parents and Students,
Welcome back to another terrific year at St. Cecilia’s School! The 2013-2014 school year is going to be a super one. I am so excited to be a part of the implementation of STEM Education (science - technology - engineering - math) in our school. I will be teaching 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade science, as well as, 8th grade religion.
I have 12 years of teaching experience – 7 years at St. Mary’s School in Wharton (Kindergarten teacher), 3 years in the Hopatcong School District (Substitute teacher/Middle School Aide), and 2 years at St. Cecilia School. I have two children – Colleen (19 yrs old, Sophomore at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in NYC) and Patrick (17 yrs old, Senior at Hopatcong HS). I have been married to my husband, Jim, for 22 years. I have 3 dogs (Bailey, Max and Lucky) and 1 guinea pigs (Caramel Cream). I tell you all of this because my family is a part of me and I often reference them in class.
Thank you. God Bless you. I look forward to working with you.
