A note from the director...

The Enchantment of Beauty and the Beast... A beautiful maiden meets and falls in love with the Beast -- not at first, of course. At first she only sees an ugly monster, who mistreats all who are around him and imprisons her for the picking of a rose. The Beast, a selfish prince, not lacking for any of the finer things in life, so self-absorbed that he knew not how to treat people less fortunate than himself, is transformed into this monster so that he may learn compassion for his fellow man. As the days pass he finds himself seeing life as he had never seen it before -- through the eyes of love. The beautiful girl looks past all the ugliness and finds herself falling in love with the person inside the Beast.

A lesson to be learned by all -- it doesn't matter what you have, or what you look like, what matters most is what you have in your heart. If we truly look deep enough, before we judge, we will see the good in everyone. For without love, what will we have left?
