International System of Units (SI)

Base Units

Seven well-defined units which by convention are regarded as dimensionally independent.

Numbers

Roman Numerals

A system of numerical notations used by the Romans. It is an additive (and subtractive) system in which letters are used to denote certain "base" numbers, and arbitrary numbers are then denoted using combinations of symbols.

Base Numbers

Conversion table for number bases commonly used in modern electronics and computers including binary (base 2), octal (base 8), decimal (base 10), and hexadecimal (base 16).

Published by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), the leading international organization for worldwide standardization in electrotechnology.
