Procedures

Arrival

       Bus Students

Exit the bus by the Main Door of school, walk into the building and proceed to the All-Purpose Room.

       Walkers

Enter the school building using the Middle Door of school and proceed to the All-Purpose Room.

       Car Riders

Option 1  -  Use Parking Lot or park on Maple Avenue.  Enter the Middle Door and proceed to the All-Purpose Room. Please observe Parking Lot Rules. Please do not park so students need to cross the street without an adult.

Option 2  -  Use Halsey Avenue to drop off using the curbside of the car to exit. It is essential to keep traffic flowing so it is just a drop off area. Enter the Middle Door and proceed to the All-Purpose Room. Parents needing to exit the car should use the parking lot.

Dismissal

       Bus Students

Exit from the Main Door onto buses directed by 8th grade patrols.

       Walkers

Exit from the Side Door by the lunchroom next to the parking lot and proceed DIRECTLY home. This area will be blocked off.

       Car Riders

Exit from the Side Door by the lunchroom next to the parking lot. This area will be blocked off. Parents should use the Parking Lot.

No child will be allowed to  cross the street to get into a car parked on the street.

 

Parking Lot

       Always drive slowly and carefully.

       Use only designated parking spots.

       Back into the space when you park.

       Be sure to walk your child to or from the sidewalk.

There is absolutely NO LEFT TURN permitted when exiting the lot onto Halsey Avenue.
